Chamber of commerce, police department sponsor meth presentation

The Prairie du Chien Area Chamber of Commerce and the Prairie du Chien Police Department are co-sponsoring a methamphetamine presentation on Tuesday, April 29 at the Crawford County Administration Building at 1 p.m.  Chamber President and CEO Robert Moses said the reason the  Chamber is sponsoring the event is to take a proactive approach to this ongoing problem and to bring an awareness of the problem to Chamber members and local citizens of Prairie du Chien.

The 90-minute presentation will be given by Lieutenant Terry Sprosty and Sergeant Kyle Teynor and will also cover the dangers associated with the use and manufacturing of meth, the effects on citizens, potential dangers and costs to businesses owners, and to bring awareness to what the businesses and citizens can do. The presentation will conclude with a question-and-answer session from the audience.
