Jim E. Teynor
Jim E. Teynor, 40, of Wauzeka, died suddenly Tuesday, April 1, at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1973 in La Crosse, the son of Clarence and Janice (Furr) Teynor. Jim was currently working as a correctional officer for the Prairie du Chien Correctional Institute. He loved horses and Harleys, and was an avid hunter. He was always the life of the party and was described by friends and family as being truly happy.
He is survived by his father, Clarence of Wauzeka and his mother Janice Furr of Phoenix, Ariz.; his sisters, Melissa Teynor of Oelwein, Iowa, Trudie Teynor of Wauzeka, Jenny (Jorge) Siverio of Phoenix and Krystal (Luis) Saucedo of Bremerton, Wash.; his brother Adam Burgus of Phoenix along with his significant other, Joy Kite of Fennimore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Eastman, Rev. Victor Feltes officiating with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, April 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, where there will be a parish rosary at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
