Bulldog girls fall to Waukon

The Waukon Indian girls came into Monona on Thursday, Feb. 6 and left with a 66-41 victory over the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs played the Indians level in the first quarter, with each scoring 11 points. After that, the Indians took over, with a 15-8 second quarter. In the second half, the Bulldogs faced a tough Alyssa Collins, who had a total of 18 points, and 12 in the second half, for the Indians. Thea Meyer added eight second half points and Ashley Furhrman had 11.
Madelyn Vogt led the Bulldogs with 19 points, while Haley Vogt contributed eight. Marcy Klein also had five points and Erin Kinley added two. With the loss, the girls dropped to 10-7 overall.
