Bulldog boys rebound from loss with win over Ed-Co

The MFL MarMac Boys Basketball team continued the wrap-up portion of the schedule on Feb. 4 in Edgewood, as they played a non-conference game with the Ed-Co Vikings. The Bulldogs had a close first quarter, leading 21-14 at the end, but then put the game away, allowing only 17 points the rest of the way. They beat Ed-Co 64-31.
The Bulldogs were led by Cody Mason’s 22 points, leaving him just 116 points away from 1,000 career points. Tristen Kautman and Brandon Schneider scored nine points and Adam Greener had eight rebounds. The win put the Bulldogs at 13-3 overall.
In the opener, the girls fell to Ed-Co 64-45. With the loss, their record fell to 10-6 overall.
