Paul R. Dohse, 60, of McGregor passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 8, 1953 in Prairie du Chien, the son of Carl and Frances (Goite) Dohse. He married Kari Corlett on May 18, 1991 at Pikes Peak in McGregor. Paul worked as a chef for many area restaurants including; The Red Cedar, The Barn and Captain’s Reef. He and Kari owned and operated the Heidelburg Restaurant in Luana, Iowa also. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan.
He is survived by his wife Kari of McGregor; his son Jesse Dohse Weymiller; his brothers, Wayne (Diane) of Middleton, and Louis (Margo) of Ft. Collins, Colo.; along with a sister-in-law Diane Dohse of Marquette. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mel Wild officiating. A private family inurnment will be later in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in McGregor. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
