Flynt Nancy Kussmaul passed away on Dec. 9 at her home in Sarasota, Fla. due to heart disease.
She was born Nov. 5, 1948 in Prairie du Chien to Allen and Dorris Kussmaul. She graduated from West Grant High School in 1966 and then attended 4 year at the University of La Crosse.
Most of her career was spent in San Francisco, Calif. as an airline stewardess for World Airways. She traveled to many countries and was stationed for a short time in Sicily, Italy. After her move to Florida, she worked in a veterinary clinic. She had a great love and respect for animals. She enjoyed life and brought a spark of light to an ordinary day.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Susie Moravits and brother Tim Kussmaul. She is survived by her sister Connie Klinkhammer of Mt. Hope; her niece Stacey Martin of Bloomington, nephew Andy Lucas of Mt. Hope. Many great nieces, nephews and cousins. A private family burial will be at a later date. Namastè Flynt, we love you.
