Wrestlers compete at Doug Guilford Tournament

The MFL MarMac Wrestlers continued to learn at the Doug Guilford Tournament at Starmont on Dec. 21. In the 106 pound matches, Cody Waterman was pinned twice in his two matches. Riley Doeppke wrestled four matches at 120 and went 2-2, winning matches one and three. The 126 matches were wrestled by Seth Heying, who, according to online results, went 2-2. At 132, Bryce Decker also went 2-2, winning match one by pinfall and match four by decision. Also going 2-2, and winning his middle matches, was Bret Corlett at 138 pounds. Hunter Fletcher wrestled at 145, going 1-2. Matt Knipfel wrestled and lost one match at 152. Chase Strub went 3-1 at 160, losing his second match before pinning his next two opponents. At 182 pounds, Nathan Howe won two matches before losing his third. 195 saw David Martin drop his two matches. Braxton Berns, at 220, won his first of four before losing three straight by pinfall. At 285, Gatlin Keehner finished second of four, winning his first match, but losing the final match.
