Imogene Matilda (Weighner) Mardauss, 86, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, at Tender Care of Clare, Mich.
Imogene was born Sept. 29, 1927 in Prairie du Chien, to Melvin and Elda Weighner. She attended Prairie du Chien High School and graduated in 1942. She was married to George Mardauss June 12, 1947 in Prairie du Chien and he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1997. Mrs. Mardauss was Lutheran and was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Imogene is survived by a daughter, Julie Mardauss-Kahler and her husband Steven Kahler of Evart, Mich.; three grandchildren, Robert Mardauss of Dixon, Ill., William (Anna) Mardauss of Chicago, Ill., and Benjamin Kahler of Evart, Mich.; one great grandchild, Emery Mardauss of Chicago, Ill., and a sister, Rita Weighner Clayton of Kansas City, Kans.
Mrs. Mardauss was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George; her son Richard Mardauss in February of 2013 and a sister, Alene Novey.
