Sumner-Fred ends MFL MarMac Volleyball season

The MFL MarMac Bulldogs’ volleyball season ended on Tuesday, Oct. 29 in Sumner in the second round of the regional tournament. The Bulldogs had been placed in the second round because of state scheduling rules. 

 

Sumner-Fredericksburg dominated the Bulldogs, winning 25-11, 25-9, 25-5. Sumner-Fred leaders were Becca Pagel, with 24 assists and seven aces, and Kally Frisch, with 15 kills. Sumner-Fred served at a 94 percent efficiency, had 29 kills and 18 aces. 

 

The Bulldogs were led by Lexi Dettbarn, who had four kills, and Jasmine Stocker, with four assists. The team had no aces and served at a 90 percent efficiency.

 

The Bulldogs finished their season at 0-25 overall. Sumner-Fred moved their record to 35-3.
