Car chase leads to charges

On Oct. 27, at approximately 5:30 a.m,, a Crawford County Sheriff’s deputy who was finishing a previous call  observed a two-door white Saturn drive through the village of Seneca at an approximate speed of 60 to 75 mph in a 25 mph zone.

The deputy caught up to the vehicle on County E and began to pursue the vehicle operating westbound towards Highway 35. The vehicle failed to yield for the officer’s emergency lights and siren and a pursuit ensued.
