Heather Schroeder, owner and stylist of HS Salon in Prairie du Chien (located in Hair Play next to Southwest Vet), donated $70 to Look Good Feel Better through the Caring Is Sexy Charity Cut-A-Thon Oct. 22. She said she hopes that, with better promotion next year, she can increase the amount of money she donates to the organization, which is dedicated to improving the self-image of those undergoing cancer treatments. HS Salon in Prairie du Chien joined beauty brand Sexy Hair’s efforts for a Caring Is Sexy Charity Cut-A-Thon on Tuesday, Oct. 22. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Owner and Stylist Heather Schroeder said this is the second year she has participated in the haircut marathon, which involved more than 380 salons across the United States this year.

During the cut-a-thon, HS Salon offered haircuts with a percentage of all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit organization Look Good Feel Better, a self-help beauty charity dedicated to improving the self-image of those undergoing cancer treatment.
