The Washington Street Park Grand Opening was held last Wednesday, Oct. 16 and dozens of community members and sponsors came out to officially celebrate the upgrade to this “new” park and check out the new handicapped accessible pier, canoe/kayak launch, outdoor recreation center, trail and more. The Prairie du Chien Fire Department aerial fire truck was utilized to capture the event and the park’s layout from above. More photos from the Grand Opening available on Facebook and at pdccourier.com. (Photos by Correne Martin)
