The South Winn Warriors came to Monona on Friday, Oct. 18 and left nothing on the field as they scored a 76-0 victory over the Bulldogs on parents night.

South Winn, who is headed to the playoffs once again, was just too fast for the Bulldog defense. The Warriors amassed 611 yards of total offense, scoring nine touchdowns. Logan Schweinefus threw for three touchdowns in relief of Garret Bohach, who was laid out on an option play by Bulldog Matt Jacobs in the first quarter. Treyton Jacobson led the Warrior rushers with 169 yards. Jared Schroeder also added 122 yards. The Warrior defense picked off the Bulldogs three times, twice for touchdowns.

Bulldog Quarterback Austin Schoulte was 4 for 12 for 40 yards passing. He also ran for negative nine yards on two runs and was sacked once. Colby Ferguson ran for 26 yards and Andrew Zeeh for 25. Chase Strub added four yards for a total of 89 offensive yards.

The Bulldogs finished district play at 0-6 and 1-7 overall. Up next is playoff bound Clayton Ridge, who is 7-1 overall. The game will be at Guttenberg on Friday, Oct. 25 and is a non-district game.

The Bulldogs will get new district foes next season, as this is the end of the two-year cycle. The state will release those in March.
