Ryan Halbur of Independence, Iowa, picks one of the glass dish flowers from his display garden at the Fall Arts and Crafts Festival, which was held in McGregor on Saturday and Sunday. When Halbur first began experimenting with the craft a few years ago, he used glue to hold the dishes together. However, now the dishes are held together with hardware in order to make them more weather resistant. (Photos by Audrey Posten)
