On Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m., at St. John School cafeteria in Prairie du Chien, Fr. Paul Fagan from the Diocese of Shinyanga in Tanzania will give a video presentation. The video will show the medical work that Fr. Paul is presently doing in Songambele Health Center at his St. Peter Parish in Nkololo.

The center was upgraded from the status of a Dispensary in 2011. It is the only health center in the diocese and in the Bariadi District that has ever been allowed to give blood transfusions that have already saved many hundreds of lives. The 33-bed wards are very inadequate and a new ward will be a priority when funds become available.

Fr. Paul will explain how his life has changed over the 53 years that he has been doing pastoral work in the diocese and will answer questions.

Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome.
