Norma E. Sprosty, 90, of Sheboygan, formerly of Wauzeka, passed away Wednesday, July 24, at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan.
She was born on July 14, 1923 in Wauzeka to John “Louis” and Kathryn (McCarthy) Lathrop. She was married February 14, 1944, in Wauzeka to Thomas Sprosty and he preceded her on December 7, 2012. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wauzeka. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children Kathryn Harvat, Delores (David) Blust, Joanne Salas, all of Sheboygan, Jerold (Adela) Sprosty of Sheboygan Falls; sister, Mary (Eugene) Gillitzer of Prairie du Chien; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Sprosty of Hartford; brother-in-law, Adrian Sprosty of Kimberly; sister-in-law, Marjean Kern of Hawkins; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Sprosty; son, Phillip Sprosty; a grandson, Patrick; a son-in-law, Orville Harvat; brothers, Lawrence and John Lathrop.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wauzeka, with Father Victor Feltes officiating. Burial will be at the Wauzeka Cemetery.
