43rd annual run/walk takes off

Ready, set, go
The 66 participants of Saturday’s 5-mile run/3-mile walk started off the day with a bang as they moved past start and onward towards the finish line. Landon Balk was the overall winner of the race with a time of 33.08.
Racing to the Finish
Runners at the 43rd annual Run/Walk, sponsored by the Prairie du Chien Parks and Recreation Department and the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital, saw people racing to beat the clock and each other.
Winners of the 5-mile run were awarded medals for their impressive times. The awards were given to both men and women in each different age group, ranging from high school to over 70.
