On Friday, July 12, the Junior American Legion team played La Crosse at St. Feriole Island.

Prairie du Chien held La Crosse at bay during the first inning and additionally scored four runs. With no scores during the second inning, the third inning saw La Crosse scoring three runs and Prairie du Chien scoring one.

The fourth inning also saw no scores, while the fifth inning brought two more scores for La Crosse and an additional run for Prairie du Chien.

La Crosse scored no runs at the top of the sixth, but Prairie du Chien answered their silence with two runs. The seventh inning saw La Crosse fall short, only scoring one run and ending the game with a score of 6-8.

Casey Hogenson pitched all seven innings for Prairie du Chien and was 3x4 with a double. Additionally, Peyton Hall was 2x3 with a double and Ryan Garrity was 3x3 with a triple.

After the game, Prairie du Chien was 19-5 on the season.
