How to spend a summer day in Guttenberg

Fourth of July is over, and it is about that time where kids are "dying of boredom." I am sure mothers have heard the whiny question, "Mom, I'm bored, what should I do?" numerous times, and kids get that classic response, "Stop watching TV, and go play outside."
There is so much good, old-fashioned fun in Guttenberg, that the summer doesn't have to be boring.
Most adults think of exercise as running on a treadmill or going to the gym, but for kids, exercise means playing. At school, kids exercise when having gym class, playing tag, crossing the monkey bars at recess, at gymnastics practice and participating in a sport. During the summer it can be challenging to not sleep in or watch TV and to exercise by having some of the traditional fun that all kids should experience such as: riding bikes, playing hopscotch, skipping a rock, climbing a tree, blowing bubbles, jumping rope, playing four squares, and camping.
