Marlene (Molly) Joyce Drallmeier, 76, Milwaukee, formerly of Plover, Wis., died Wednesday, June 5, at her home in Milwaukee.
Marlene was born on April 6, 1937, in Ferryville, to Lloyd and Anne (Grimsled) Emerson. She graduated from Prairie du Chien High School. Molly was united in marriage to Eugene (Jug) Drallmeier on September 17, 1955, in McGregor, Iowa. Five children were born to this union. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, watching football and baseball. She loved to travel, as well as to spend time with the grandchildren while cooking and baking for them. Molly loved her family very much and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Jug Drallmeier, Milwaukee; four children, Randy (Tami) Drallmeier, Mosinee, Wis., Lori Zarneke, Milwaukee, Sheri (Doug) Johnson, Union Grove, Ron (Theresa) Drallmeier, Plainfield; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Darwin Emerson, Poland, Ohio; brother-in-law Gary (Dixie) Drallmeier, Snowflake, Ariz.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Anne Emerson; mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Ione Drallmeier; one son, Richard Drallmeier; one great-granddaughter, Talia Drallmeier; one brother-in-law, Keith Drallmeier and one sister-in-law, Diane Emerson.
Memorial services were held Saturday, June 8, at the United Methodist Church in Prairie du Chien. The Rev. Mike Christensen officiated.
Inurnment followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor, Iowa.
